Chelsea and Napoleon's Wedding: Vintage Oklahoma Wedding

Our Fall Wedding Season started out beautifully with

Chelsea and Napoleon's gorgeous vintage wedding!

The attention to detail, bright colors, and darling vintage finds

created such a charming atmosphere for their ceremony and reception!

 

Chelsea and Napoleon are big OSU fans and that was displayed

throughout the reception.

 

Heather Schleeper did their engagement and wedding photography

and captured so many beautiful moments!

absolutely darling truck owned by her stepdad...

The Reception

 

Chelsea and Napoleon arrived at the reception {in our barn}

in the back of her stepdad's truck...

So cute!!!

 

The Blessed Oak barn

 

 

Here are some photos of the centerpieces and other

vintage details put together by Chelsea and her mom...

The outside tables were decorated with various vintage items that

made for such charming centerpieces!!

 

 



Chelsea's wedding cake was made by a family member and

it was absolutely adorable...

 

 



We are loving the rock candy waterfall!!

 

Napoleon's cake was...what else??

The gifts were placed in the bed of our old farm truck...

 

It was also used as a photo booth and guest sign in...

 

Love it!!

 

They used our antique stove as the drink station...

The guests added a tag to their mason jar and it was their

glass for the night & wedding favor...adorable!!

Cute floral straws added the finishing touch to the mason jar glasses.

It was a perfect evening of dancing, singing, laughter, and love...

what a blessed celebration!!

The New Life of our Old Barn Floor

Before becoming a Wedding Venue, our barn was used as, well...a barn!

It used to house farm equipment, such as, tractors, implements, sprayers,

rusty baling wire, 4 wheelers, old furniture, and many, many, many hand tools!

After years of leaky tractors and other vehicles being parked on that floor...

this is what it looked like...

 

 

We decided that this just wouldn't do for our Brides and Grooms

so after some research and seeking wise counsel,

we decided to stain the floor.

 

My sweet husband put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the new floor

and I must say {and I'm sure he would agree}

that it was well worth it!!

Here is our new barn floor!

 

 

 

We absolutely LOVE it...here it is during Chelsea and Napoleon's wedding

{more on their wedding coming soon}.

 

 

 

It's amazing what kind of transformation a little stain and elbow grease can make!!
