It was a perfect day on September 14, 2013 when Joanna and James
exchanged wedding vows and celebrated their union at
Blessed Oak Farm!
What a beautiful, fun wedding!
We will begin the story of their wedding day by sharing a few of snapshots
of details that we (very unprofessionally) captured.
Joanna and James paid such close attention to the details
of their wedding.
There were countless DIY elements of this vintage wedding
that made it just absolutely darling...
beginning with the signs that they posted as their
guests entered the gate.
"This is how our story begins...The I-Do's"
Love this whimsical directional sign!!
Their sign in table was beyond adorable!
They set up a vintage typewriter
and the guests filled out library cards!
They used our old farm truck to hold the gifts.
The cards were put in a vintage suitcase.
Too cute!!
Leading up to the ceremony site,
Joanna and James put these darling signs
that stated traditional vows on each of them!! LOVE THIS!!
Joanna chose beautiful red Gerbera Daisies
placed in vintage blue mason jars on top of
tree stumps to line the aisle. So pretty!!
We love the gorgeous pop of red against the blue jars!
Joanna and James had their wedding program
printed on these brown bags...so cute!
Inside was some birdseed that the guests tossed at the bride and groom
as they left the ceremony! Great idea!!!
How cute is this???
Joanna's dad built this ADORABLE Kissing Booth
for the bride and groom to sit in during the reception!!
This was a table that was set up for advice for the bride and groom
as well as coloring pages for the little ones.
Darling!
Their centerpieces were coke bottles with one red daisy.
So simple and SO sweet!!
Lips and mustaches made an appearance
throughout the ceremony & reception
They had a darling candy buffet set up on one of our
antique dressers. How cute is this sign...
"Candy Stache"! ;)
Joanna's cake was made by one of her family members.
So sweet!
We are loving these darling flags on top!
The Groom's cake was an Oreo Cake!
They even had shots of milk to serve with the Oreos!
YUMMY!!
And a S'Mores Bar to complete the sweets at
this super sweet wedding!!
And another darling sign...
James' mom did the catering...
it was beautiful and delicious!!
This is BY FAR the most creative form of
musical entertainment we have seen, yet!
They collected old records and a vintage record player
and had their guests be the DJ!
LOVE THIS IDEA!!!
And now for the professional images...
These GORGEOUS photos were taken by Jennifer Field
of Jennifer Field Photography!
